Home & Vehicle Modification Program (HVMP)
Ontario March of Dimes draws on more than 55 years of experience to serve
people with physical disabilities of all ages.
They are the largest rehabilitation organization in Ontario, providing a variety
of programs and services to over 40,000 people annually in 70 communities
across the province.
They serve the public:

by funding programs and administering
government-funded programs that provide essential support,
such as job placement services, assistive device funding
and home and vehicle modifications;

by providing important fee-for-service
programs to consumers, such as attendant care, recreational
and social activities and peer-to-peer support networks;
|
 |
as a supplier to Ontario’s business
community through our Corporate Rehabilitation Services,
which provides employers, health insurers and other industry
partners with advanced employee and client care, including
assessment services and sensitivity and awareness training;

 |
as a voice for people with physical disabilities
in government, by keeping track of important issues and
taking part in the decision-making process.
|
OMOD has approximately 1600 staff across the province and
enjoys the support of more than 18,000 volunteers, active in
governance, fundraising and administration.
