Home & Vehicle Modification Program (HVMP)

Ontario March of Dimes draws on more than 55 years of experience to serve people with physical disabilities of all ages.
They are the largest rehabilitation organization in Ontario, providing a variety of programs and services to over 40,000 people annually in 70 communities across the province.
They serve the public:

by funding programs and administering government-funded programs that provide essential support, such as job placement services, assistive device funding and home and vehicle modifications;

by providing important fee-for-service programs to consumers, such as attendant care, recreational and social activities and peer-to-peer support networks;

as a supplier to Ontario’s business community through our Corporate Rehabilitation Services, which provides employers, health insurers and other industry partners with advanced employee and client care, including assessment services and sensitivity and awareness training;

as a voice for people with physical disabilities in government, by keeping track of important issues and taking part in the decision-making process.

OMOD has approximately 1600 staff across the province and enjoys the support of more than 18,000 volunteers, active in governance, fundraising and administration.
