Care can be provided to individuals who require 24 hour care to minimal care. The caregiver provides all levels of personal, psychosocial and domestic care at a level appropriate to the individual client.
AgTa is well equipped to deal with clients who are suffering from many forms of dementia, both in the early and later stages. With our support, AgTa can make both the client and family caregivers more comfortable, helping to ease the burden of responsibility such care can bring.
Companionship
Our trained personnel will accompany you to personal appointments, doctor appointments, shopping, physio appointments etc. They are also able to just keep someone company and engage them in social activities in the home or around the community!
Acquired Brain Injury Care
AgTa Has had extensive experience working with individuals with brain injuries and their families while they transition from acute and/or rehab care institutions to a manageable home environment. Offering a variety of services, our specially trained Support Workers and Therapy Support Workers have the knowledge to anticipate and address the challenges that clients with brain injuries face both in and out of community. They also seek opportunities for encouraging independence and confidence in their clients. Our specially trained staff can work under the direction of Case Managers and Occupational Therapists to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients.
Foot Care Services
Preventative foot care will significantly improve comfort, mobility and general foot health. AgTa provides cutting and filing of nails, softening and buffing of corns and calluses, application of non-medicated padding massage, treatments for infection, peripheral vascular disease, ulcers or diabetes. Foot Care is performed only by trained experienced Registered Nurses with the knowledge on treating and performing foot care.
Home Support Services
Include cleaning, dusting, laundry and other housekeeping duties required to allow you to remain independent in your home.
Homemaking
Our staff can help you with meal preparation, according to prescribed diet, favourite recipes, and ethnically sensitive menus. Our Homemaking service also provides light housekeeping and tidying up services
Child Care
Support Workers can provide childcare relief for children of all ages, as well as assist with home making and personal care requirements.
Motor Vehicle Accident Victim Care
AgTa’s personal care, home support workers and professional nursing staff are trained to work with multi-disciplinary rehabilitation teams, to maximize client outcomes and promote independent living. For example, our home support staff will work with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to ensure an all encompassing, Client-focused approach.
Complex Care/ Catastrophic Injury Care
AgTa Home Health Care and Nursing is a preferred provider to many organizations that must deliver quality home care to clients with serious injuries. Our institutional clients include the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), insurance companies, rehabilitation service providers and government care programs.
Our network of caregivers and healthcare professionals is a trusted and reliable source for a wide range of nursing and personal care services. In addition, our health care professionals have the specialized skills and training that clients with serious injuries need. AgTa has successfully worked with and continues to provide care for clients that require brain and spinal cord injury care, wound and burn care, palliative care, 24-hour nursing, fracture and amputation care, personal care and home support, and Therapy Support care for community re-integration and independence training.
Attendant Care
AgTa’s personal support workers enable clients to live independently in their homes. Our specially trained staff can help with personal hygiene care such as grooming, washing and bathing, basic hand and foot care, dressing, assistance with eating, helping clients move safely into chairs, beds or vehicles and more!
Maternal/Newborn Care
At AgTa we understand that caring for a newborn is stressful and demanding. That’s why our specially-trained pediatric nurses and caregivers are equipped to deal with complex care requirements as well as more basic personal care needs for Mom and Baby including bathing, eating or dressing. We work in collaboration with families to develop a personalized care plan that meets all of their needs.
Housekeeping
AgTa can provide housekeeping services on many levels. We can offer light housekeeping and tidying up to deep cleaning and special needs housekeeping for those with special allergies or health concerns. We can be available on a scheduled basis or on an as-needed basis. All our housekeepers are experienced and trained.
Post-Surgical Care
AgTa staff can help provide support for those who have just undergone any form of surgery. We can provide personal support or nursing care on an ongoing basis or periodically depending on the needs and desires of the patient.
Medical Equipment Sales/Rentals
Keeping with AgTa’s goal of offering the most complete source of home-care service in Ontario, we also offer any and all types of medical and surgical equipment for sale and/or rent. This is also offered on an emergency 24-hour basis for those that are discharged and find themselves in urgent need of equipment and supplies.
Spinal Cord Injury Care

We offer comprehensive palliative care services, including professional nursing care, homemaking services, personal care, and respite for family caregivers
Personal Care Services
Assistance with activities of daily living, such as getting in and out of bed, bathing, dressing or grooming.
Registered Nursing Services
In home nursing services, private duty nursing, and temporary staff relief services. Our Registered Nurses can provide care in home and/or institutional settings. They are available 24hours/day 7 days/week. Our Registered Nurses can provide as little as a 1 hour short visits, to wound care to complex injury 24-hour care!
Respite Care
AgTa staff can provide relief for family caregivers for a few hours a day, or around-the-clock. Our caregivers are trained to tend to the needs of your loved one(s), while you attend to other responsibilities and obligations.
