Quick Move $2,895.00

QUICK MOVE 14A510X User group The Quick Move is an easy to manoeuvre wheeled transfer aid, designed for users with reduced leg strength and poor balance, but with a sufficient degree of arm strength and remaining standing function. It provides quick, stable and safe transfer. The stainless steel frame and rust proof materials make the Quick Move ideal for use in a showering situation. Help for the caregiver Removes the risk of back injuries due to repeated or incorrect lifting techniques, and saves the caregiver time when sling transfer is not required for the user. Alternative active patient transfer An ideal alternative for those users who do not require transfer in a mobile hoist or a sit-to-stand lifter. It also functions as a turning device, e.g. moving user from bed to chair. The Quick Move provides a form of active user therapy by exercising the user’s rising and standing functions. Support features The user stands on the footplate and raises themselves to an upright position by pulling on the side or front handlebars. The users’ knees are supported by tiltable kneepads. During transfer the user holds on to the handlebars and leans back against the slit sectioned support seats. The support seats are swing away at 90° for easy user access. Handgrip adjustment and options There are two handgrip options: A horizontal handle bar, and right and left vertical handle bars. The handlebars are angle adjustable in 7 positions via two side release handles, forwards and backwards, to accommodate for users of different heights. The rounded handle bar design affords the user an ergonomically correct, forward leaning rising action. Adjusting the handle bar angle, automatically adjusts the height and angle of the support seat. The handlebars are covered with a soft padding the safer gripping, and easy cleaning. Foot pedal This adjusts the leg spread width, in and out, by pushing down on the left or right sides. The leg spread is wide enough to access wheelchairs. Solid footplate A solid construction, equipped with non-slip surface and drainage holes for excess water. For extra safety there is high back heel plate, which must be folded up during patient transport.
