AGTA Home Health Care’s personal Personal Support Workers enable clients to live independently in their homes. Our specially trained staff can help with personal hygiene care such as grooming, washing and bathing, basic hand and foot care, dressing, assistance with eating, helping clients move safely into chairs, beds or vehicles and more!

In home nursing services, private duty nursing, and temporary staff relief services. Our Registered Nurses can provide care in home and/or institutional settings. They are available 24hours/day 7 days/week. Our Registered Nurses can provide as little as a 1 hour short visits, to wound care to complex injury 24-hour care!

Preventative foot care will significantly improve comfort, mobility and general foot health. AGTA Home Health Care provides cutting and filing of nails, softening and buffing of corns and calluses, application of non-medicated padding massage, treatments for infection, peripheral vascular disease, ulcers or diabetes. Foot Care is performed only by trained experienced Registered Nurses with the knowledge on treating and performing foot care.

Include cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, laundry as well as other housekeeping duties required to allow you to remain independent in your home.

Our staff can help you with meal preparation, according to prescribed diet, favourite recipes, and ethnically sensitive menus. Our Homemaking service also provides light housekeeping and tidying up around the home

Personal Support Workers can provide childcare relief for children of all ages, as well as assist with home making and personal care requirements. Our staff are also trained in supporting children with disabilities.

AGTA Home Health Care’s personal care, home Personal Support Workers and professional nursing staff are trained to work with multi-disciplinary rehabilitation teams, to maximize client outcomes and promote independent living. For example, our home support staff will work with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to ensure a client-focused approach.

Assistance with activities of daily living, such as getting in and out of bed, bathing, dressing or grooming and more.

AGTA Home Health Care can provide housekeeping services on many levels. We can offer light housekeeping and tidying up to deep cleaning and special needs services for those with certain allergies or health concerns. We can be available on a scheduled basis or as needed. All of our housekeepers are experienced and trained.

These can be obtained on an emergency 24-hour basis for those that are discharged from hospital and find themselves in urgent need of equipment and supplies.

AGTA Home Health Care has had extensive experience working with individuals that have Spinal Cord injuries. Our specialized staff care for patients while they transition from acute and/or rehab institutions to a manageable home environment. Offering a variety of services, our specially trained Personal Support Workers, Therapy Support Workers and Registered Nurses have the knowledge to anticipate and address the challenges that clients with spinal cord injuries face both in and out of community. They also seek opportunities to encourage independence and promote confidence in their clients. Our trained personnel will accompany you to personal appointments, doctor appointments, shopping, physio appointments etc. They are also able to simply keep someone company and engage them in social activities in the home or around the community!

AGTA Home Health Care staff can provide relief for family caregivers from a few hours a day to around-the-clock care. Our staff is trained to tend to the needs of your loved one(s), while you attend to other responsibilities and obligations.
